Been so long again …
Been a fan of skateboarding for years, but I’ve not been impressed with how the sport has progressed, but how its portrail has too. I have found a lot of qualities that exist in skateboarders, the creativity, the expression, the style, the escapism perhaps, exist in artists too, a good example of this is the series of books entitled “From Concrete to Canvas” featuring art by skateboarders.
Simple, old school, like it.
Similar in those respects.
Capturing nature in its most stunning, breathtaking positions is most definitely a talent.
The amount of imagination it must require to conceive this sort of incredible vision is beyond me, quite frankly.
I remember this sort of thing making me want to go to art college in the first place, there was quite a lot of this in the sketchbook i brought along to my second interview.
